April Hollon Gatlin

April Hollon Gatlin is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in domestic law, probate, government, real estate, collaborative law, and litigation. As a complex litigator and trial lawyer, she has led cases involving real estate, contract disputes, construction, leases, title disputes, felony defense, estates, and insurance defense. In her role as a domestic attorney, April has adeptly represented clients in child support, custody, visitation, guardianship, and adoption matters.

April's comprehensive understanding as a general practitioner allows her to integrate estate planning, probate, and real estate into a cohesive problem-solving strategy. Her previous role as Grant County Master Commissioner involved managing hundreds of foreclosures each year. She also served as City Attorney for several Northern Kentucky cities and has experience as a prosecutor in adult jury trials and juvenile court.

April is deeply involved in her community, having served as President of her local Kiwanis and Kindervelt chapters and as Secretary on the Holly Hill Children's Services Board. She was also a member of the Grant County Chamber of Commerce Vision 2020. Currently, she is an active member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Academy of Northern Kentucky Collaborative Professionals, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern Kentucky Bar Association.

Raised on a dairy farm in Gravel Switch, Kentucky, April learned the values of hard work, honesty, and compassion. As a mother of four, she understands the challenges families face today. April met her husband, Jack, during their freshman year at the University of Kentucky, and they both graduated from there. She resides in Union, Kentucky, with her husband and law partner, Jack Gatlin.
