Margo Barnett

Margo Barnett, a founding partner of Clagett & Barnett, PLLC, has been serving the legal needs of clients in Hardin and surrounding counties since 2003. Known for her commitment to building personal relationships with her clients, Margo has assisted numerous families through challenging legal situations.

Margo began her legal career in Elizabethtown at another law firm, where she gained extensive experience in divorce, custody, adoption, domestic violence disputes, neglect and mistreatment cases, as well as criminal defense and personal injury matters. Raised in Frankfort, Kentucky, she earned her undergraduate degree from Murray State University. Margo then spent two years in Nashville working in public relations for Enterprise Rent-A-Car before attending Northern Kentucky University’s Chase College of Law, graduating with honors in 2003.

An active member of the Elizabethtown community, Margo participates in the Hardin County Bar Association, Hardin County Teen Court, and the Parent Education Clinic. She is also involved in local charity boards and volunteers at Feeding America and Warm Blessings. Margo is licensed to practice law in Kentucky.

Beyond her professional commitments, Margo is a dedicated wife and mother, which provides her with valuable insights into the challenges faced by her clients.
