Austin Blake Combs

Blake Combs, an associate legal counsel at our Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky office, brings a wealth of experience to his role. Raised in Hazard, Kentucky, Blake pursued his early education at Hazard Community and Technical College, earning an associate's degree in arts. He then furthered his studies at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, where he obtained degrees in Political Science and History.

Blake continued his legal education at Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Highland Heights, Kentucky. He successfully passed the Uniform Bar Exam in all jurisdictions and is currently licensed in Kentucky and Ohio. His commitment to advocacy was evident during his college years, where he actively participated in charity events, women's marches, and supported women's reproductive rights.

Prior to joining Woodford, Sathappan, McGee, Blake gained valuable experience as a staff lawyer for a family judge in Oldham County, Kentucky. He also served as the sole family lawyer at a boutique firm in Covington, Kentucky.

Outside his professional life, Blake enjoys hobbies such as playing Dungeons and Dragons, painting miniatures, and watching fantasy and sci-fi films. He resides in Independence, Kentucky with his fiancé and their cat, Claire.
