Fred Pharis

Since beginning his legal career in 1983 at Pharis & Pharis, Fred A. Pharis has dedicated himself to representing consumers alongside his father, Jean, and uncle, James. He has effectively advocated for clients in Federal, State, and City courts, providing legal counsel to hundreds more.

Fred maintains a robust practice in personal injury law and products liability law. His successful litigation includes cases against major manufacturers like General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, and others, addressing defects in vehicles, motor homes, synthetic stucco, and recreational equipment. These cases often involve not just lemon law but also personal injury, thereby falling under products liability claims.

In addition to handling construction defect matters under the New Home Warranty Act, Fred has tackled commercial construction issues. His expertise extends to cases involving defective commercial fertilizer, which affected crops in the Forest Hill, Louisiana nursery community.
