He then pursued his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, earning a bachelor's degree.
He obtained his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from the LSU Paul H. Hebert Law School. During his academic career, Mr. Scott extensively traveled and studied Latin American legal systems. Fluent in Spanish, he studied for a semester at the prestigious Universidad Austral Facultad de los Derechos in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
