Paul Scott

Paul "Woody" Scott leads The Scott Law Firm in Baton Rouge, focusing on immigration law, deportation and removal defense, criminal defense, and federal criminal and immigration litigation. Born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, at the age of two, where he was raised. After completing his education at Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, he attended Louisiana State University for his undergraduate degree and later earned his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from the LSU Paul H. Hebert Law School.

Mr. Scott has a deep understanding of Latin American legal systems, having traveled extensively and studied in the region. He is fluent in Spanish and spent a semester at Universidad Austral Facultad de los Derechos in Buenos Aires, Argentina, enhancing his expertise in international legal frameworks.

His personal experiences with family and friends navigating the U.S. immigration system have fueled his passion for helping clients with similar challenges. Mr. Scott is committed to providing legal services in Immigration and Nationality Law, Criminal Defense, and Personal Injury.

Mr. Scott regularly engages with the Spanish-speaking community as a guest on Radio Amor and La Nueva radio stations, where he addresses their legal inquiries.
