Brian R. Carnie

Brian R. Carnie serves as a partner in the Shreveport office of Kean Miller, where he focuses on labor and employment law. He represents a diverse range of employers, both in the private and public sectors, dedicating his practice to advocating for management's interests. Brian handles cases involving wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, workplace torts, breach of contract, FMLA, and OSHA whistleblower claims, appearing in both federal and state courts, as well as before administrative bodies.

Brian possesses significant expertise in the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), addressing collective wage and hour disputes, and handling Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) access cases, often referred to as "drive-by" or "google" lawsuits.
