Kenneth Craig Smith Jr. was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and completed his early education at Loyola College Prep in 1985. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Louisiana State University-Shreveport in 1990. Subsequently, he attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, graduating in 1993.
As a partner at Smith & John, Craig has been a member of the Louisiana Bar since 1993. His legal practice extends to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Western District of Louisiana; and U.S. District Court, Middle District of Louisiana.
