Bill Hulsey

Bill Hulsey has dedicated 35 years to practicing Patent and Trademark Law, assisting inventors and entrepreneurs throughout the Southeast United States. His practice spans across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. Mr. Hulsey is passionate about fostering a cycle of innovation and entrepreneurial growth, which promotes intellectual property development and encourages collaborative commercialization.

Mr. Hulsey has successfully prosecuted and obtained patents and trademarks for numerous visionary inventors and entrepreneurs. His extensive experience includes interviewing, writing, and prosecuting over 2,000 U.S. and international patents across diverse technology sectors such as energy, electronics, drones, robotics, artificial intelligence, consumer products, medical devices, chemical, and financial/blockchain technologies. Additionally, he has secured more than 1,500 trademarks for a wide array of companies and products.

Among his notable achievements, Mr. Hulsey has represented an Apollo Program astronaut in design patents for multi-functional air and spacecraft. He has also served Gordon Matthews, the inventor of voicemail, and contributed to patents critical to Lockheed Aerospace's success in the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter competition. Furthermore, he established the initial 100 patents for silicon crystal solar cell fabrication technology, recognized by the U.S. Patent Office as a significant advancement.

Mr. Hulsey is also involved with the Patent Office Pro Bono Inventor Assistance Program in Texas, supporting the USPTO Office of Innovation Development.
