Jacob J. Delahoussaye was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he completed his secondary education at Lafayette High School. He then attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. His academic excellence earned him the Outstanding Scholar Award.
Driven by a passion for law, Mr. Delahoussaye pursued his legal education at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he received his Juris Doctor and Diploma of Comparative Law in 2022. He was an active member of the Admiralty Moot Court team, participating in the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition. Additionally, he served on the Board of Advocates and as a Peer Mentor in the Student Bar Association.
