Eulis Simien Jr

After transitioning from a full-time role at the L.S.U Law Center, Eulis Simien Jr. joined the Simien & Simien Law Firm. He is authorized to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit United States Courts of Appeals, all federal district courts in Louisiana, as well as the Louisiana Supreme Court and subordinate state courts.

Eulis maintains a comprehensive trial and appellate practice, focusing on Personal Injury, Admiralty and Maritime, Class Actions, Complex Litigation, and Criminal Defense. His extensive experience is complemented by numerous speaking engagements and literary contributions, including panel discussions and seminars at the LSU Law Center and Louisiana Trial Lawyers events.

His notable presentations include "Starting Your Own Practice" at the LSU Law Center in August 2006 and "Summary Judgment: It’s Not Just for Defendants Any More" at the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Last Chance Seminar in December 2004. Eulis has also contributed to various educational programs, such as the Louisiana Judicial College and the Louisiana State University Summer School for Lawyers.

Throughout his career, Eulis has made significant contributions to legal education, speaking at events like the Louisiana Judge’s Conference and the Fifteenth Judicial District Public Defender Program. He has addressed topics ranging from criminal law and procedure to ethical conflicts in criminal practice.
