James Edward Sudduth III

James E. Sudduth III, a native of Lake Charles, is the visionary founder of Sudduth and Associates, LLC. Witnessing limited growth in his hometown inspired James to become a catalyst for change. To equip himself for this mission, he temporarily relocated to Baton Rouge for his legal education.

After completing law school, James returned to Lake Charles to serve as an Assistant District Attorney in the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure, he was promoted to Misdemeanor Section Chief. Although offered a subsequent promotion to the Felony Division, James chose a different path, feeling a calling to serve the public in another capacity.

James is driven by a commitment to public service, emphasizing the satisfaction derived from making a meaningful impact in people's lives. He believes in the importance of serving the community, even when resources are limited, and strives to be a true servant to the public.
