Max E Guthrie

Max E. Guthrie serves as counsel at Shamieh Law, where he focuses his practice on motor vehicle accidents, 18-wheeler collisions, and hurricane claims. Max completed his undergraduate studies at Millsaps College in 2004 and earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2009.

Max joined Shamieh Law inspired by the vision of Ramez, a longtime friend and colleague, committed to exceeding client expectations and promoting a balanced work environment. Their shared history, growing up in the same neighborhood and attending the same elementary school, fosters a strong foundation of trust and dedication to excellence in serving clients throughout Louisiana.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Max is deeply committed to his hometown of Cameron and Cameron Parish, Louisiana. He contributes as a board member of CameronAnswers, a nonprofit organization focused on aiding the community's recovery from Hurricanes Rita and Ike.

Max is married to Amanda, and they have two children, Davis and Laurel. He actively participates in his children's activities as a Little League coach and enjoys reading, watching movies, and supporting his favorite sports teams: the Houston Astros, LSU Tigers, and New Orleans Saints.
