Kayla Martynenko

Kayla Martynenko is an accomplished attorney in Covington, Louisiana, with a focus on real estate, successions, wills, estate planning, partitions, and property litigation. Before joining Scott Vicknair, Kayla operated her own real estate closing company and law firm, where she honed her skills in successions and real estate. Kayla earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University, where she was awarded the Louisiana Legislative Scholarship and consistently made the Dean’s List. She furthered her education at Tulane University Law School, obtaining her Juris Doctor. During her time there, she excelled in moot court competitions, earning recognition as a top regional oralist and one of the best overall Alternative Dispute Resolution competitors. She also served as a coach for Tulane’s nationally recognized Appellate Moot Court Team.

Residing in Mandeville with her husband, Anton, and her three daughters, Ivanna, Valentina, and Angelica, Kayla cherishes her family life. Her career also includes the valuable experience of working for a federal judge in the Eastern District of Louisiana. Additionally, her background in accounting enhances her legal skill set.
