Michael Louis Capdeboscq, a native of Tangipahoa Parish, began his academic journey at Amite High School. He pursued higher education at Louisiana State University, earning a degree in Agricultural Business. Continuing his education at LSU, he obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1999.
After completing law school, Michael served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Ethel Simms Julien at the Orleans Parish Civil District Court. He then advanced his career as an Assistant District Lawyer at the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office from 2002 to 2005.
In 2005, Michael returned to the Northshore, taking on the role of Assistant Public Defender for the 22nd Judicial District Indigent Defender in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes. During this time, he began part-time private practice in 2008, eventually transitioning to full-time private legal work in 2015.
Currently, Michael operates his law office in Covington, Louisiana, focusing his practice on Criminal Law, Personal Injury, and Family Law.
