John Jacobs

John Jacobs became part of the Joubert Law Firm in 2013. Born in Kansas and raised across Kansas, Colorado, and North Carolina, John pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a degree in Political Science with a History Minor in 1994. He continued at the UNC School of Law at Chapel Hill, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1999. Following his education, John relocated to Louisiana with his wife, Melissa Boyle Jacobs, a Baton Rouge native and former UNC-Chapel Hill soccer scholarship recipient. Together, they have two daughters and two dogs.

Prior to his current role, John accumulated over 13 years of experience as an insurance defense attorney. This background enables him to leverage insider knowledge to advocate for clients against insurance companies, ensuring maximum compensation. He has extensive trial experience in Louisiana's State and Federal courts, handling both Judge and Jury trials.

John's practice areas include car accidents, wrongful death, motorcycle accidents, and 18-wheeler crashes. He also manages select cases involving premises liability and dog attacks.
