Seth Jeremy Bloom

Seth J. Bloom relocated to New Orleans in 2000 to study at Loyola University Law School, motivated by family connections and a strong sense of purpose. After earning his Juris Doctor and participating on the Honor Board, he began his legal career in criminal defense, personal injury, and real estate investment. These experiences laid the foundation for his future practice.

In 2004, Seth established Bloom Legal in New Orleans' Warehouse District. Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, his firm became a key legal resource, assisting residents and small businesses with insurance disputes and other legal challenges. This period solidified the firm's mission to provide responsive, community-focused legal services.

Over the past two decades, Bloom Legal has garnered a reputation for strong advocacy in criminal defense, personal injury, and construction law. Seth's dedication to accessible, client-first representation has earned him the respect of his peers and the trust of families throughout the region.

Seth has been an active member of the New Orleans community, serving as President of the Orleans Parish School Board and holding leadership positions in various civic and cultural organizations. His roles include Board Member for the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (2012–present), Travis Hill School Advisory Board (2017–present), and New Orleans Film Society (2012–2017). He also contributed to The Pro Bono Project (2015–2016) and served on the New Orleans Tricentennial Commission (2015–2018) and the Orleans Parish Democratic Executive Committee (2020–2024).

Additionally, Seth has been involved with the Touro Synagogue as a Board Member (2025–present) and served on the Young Lawyers Division Board of the Federal Bar Association, New Orleans Chapter (2004–2009). His commitment to the community extends beyond his legal practice.
