Heather Peth Fairchild

Heather Peth Fairchild is a distinguished attorney with a multifaceted career in litigation, business, and public service. She graduated cum laude with a degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. Prior to her legal career, she spent five decades as the National Marketing Manager for Ranger Boats.

Pursuing her passion for law, Heather earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University. During her studies, she excelled in Constitutional Law and Immigration Law, contributing to the Immigration Law Clinic and honing her skills with the Trial Advocacy Team.

After law school, Heather clerked for the Honorable Judge F. Hugh LaRose in the 17th Judicial District, Lafourche Parish. This experience provided her with deep insights into judicial processes. She then transitioned into private practice, focusing on criminal defense, where she achieved numerous favorable outcomes for clients.

Expanding her practice, Heather gained recognition in family law for her effective advocacy and compassionate approach. Her public service includes roles at Louisiana Works, where she served as a Workers’ Financial Recovery Mediator and later as a Workers’ Damages Judge, handling complex disputes and facilitating resolutions.

Heather is a Certified Family Law Mediator, Certified Workers’ Compensation Mediator, and Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional. Her extensive experience in litigation, judicial service, and mediation equips her with strategic insight and a solutions-oriented mindset.
