Elaine Dorothy Kimbrell

Elaine Dorothy Kimbrell serves as the Owner and Managing Attorney of Ware | Immigration, where she provides expert guidance on employment-based immigration. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from George Washington University in 2000 and her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans in 2005. During her law studies, Elaine contributed to the Maritime Law Journal and participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

Elaine's passion for immigration law was sparked during her tenure as a constituent services representative for U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu. She joined Ware | Immigration in 2006 as an associate attorney, initially focusing on family-based immigration disputes before transitioning to employment-based immigration, particularly nonimmigrant visas.

In her current role, she advises universities and private sector employers in industries such as healthcare, public utilities, oil and gas, and accounting on immigration strategies for their workforce. Elaine takes pride in facilitating the entry of skilled professionals from around the world to meet U.S. business needs.

In 2023, Elaine became the sole owner and manager of Ware | Immigration, leading the firm to be recognized as a WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprise. She is dedicated to maintaining the firm's legacy of outstanding client service and comprehensive litigation solutions.

Elaine is actively involved with NAFSA and frequently presents on immigration topics. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has served as Chair of AILA’s Midsouth section.
