Sophie Rosado

Sophie Rosado is a distinguished legal professional and notary based in Jefferson County, Louisiana. She holds a J.D. with a dual degree in civil and common law, concentrating on international law, from Loyola University School of Law, where she graduated in 2009. During her time at Loyola, she actively participated in the Loyola Trial Advocacy competition teams, competing at Michigan State in Spring 2008 and AAJ in Fall 2009. Ms. Rosado also held the position of officer on the Trial Advocacy Board between 2008 and 2009.

Her professional affiliations include membership in the Louisiana Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Jefferson Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association of Justice, and the Association for Women Legal Counselors. Additionally, she is part of the NOSSC.

Ms. Rosado's involvement in academic and extracurricular activities at Loyola was extensive. She contributed to Loyola’s Law Clinic, participated in the Public Interest Law Journal, and the Maritime Law Journal. She was also a member of Delta Theta Phi, a law fraternity, and served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing.
