Kyle P. Polozola

Kyle P. Polozola is a seasoned partner at the Lafayette office of Kean Miller, where he focuses on oil and gas, business and corporate, and real estate law. With more than two decades of experience, Kyle expertly manages intricate oil and gas and commercial litigation disputes. His practice encompasses environmental litigation, transactional matters such as mineral title examination, due diligence, and the acquisition and sale of oil and gas properties, as well as energy regulatory concerns.

Kyle represents lenders and business interests in commercial real estate, offering guidance on a wide range of corporate and business transactions. Before joining Kean Miller, he clerked for the Honorable Catherine D. Kimball, who served as an Associate and later Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Louisiana.

His professional affiliations include membership in the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute Advisory Council. Kyle's excellence in the field has been recognized by his inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for Oil and Gas Law from 2016 to 2020.

Kyle earned his B.S. from Louisiana State University in 1992 and his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 1996. During his time at Loyola, he distinguished himself as the Managing Editor of the Loyola Law Review and contributed to the Moot Court staff.
