Lisa Jeanne Butler

Lisa Jeanne Butler brings over 15 years of dedicated practice in employment law, advocating for employees in Maine, Florida, and Maryland. Her extensive experience includes more than a decade of work with judicial services in Maryland and Florida, where she represented migrant farmworkers on issues such as employment conditions, wages, health and safety, and worker exploitation.

Since her return to Maine in 2008, Lisa has focused on representing employees in civil legal rights cases, including discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblower claims in both State and Federal Courts. Notable cases she has co-counseled include Carmichael v. Verso Paper, 679 F. Supp. 2d 109 (D. Me. 2010), and Osher v. University of Maine System, 703 F. Supp. 2d 51 (D. Me. 2010).
