Meryl Poulin

Meryl Poulin, a native of Maine, is a highly skilled attorney with a solid educational and professional background. She graduated from Colby College and earned her law degree from the University of Maine School of Law. During her time at Maine Law, Meryl was recognized for her exceptional appellate advocacy skills, earning the titles of "Prize Arguer" and receiving the Gignoux Award for Appellate Advocacy. She participated in two national-level moot court teams, achieving a top-three finish in a competition with over forty teams.

Following her graduation, Meryl joined a prominent law firm in Portland, where she specialized in defending medical errors and personal injury disputes. This experience provided her with valuable insights into the operations of insurance companies. Meryl emphasizes that achieving fair compensation for clients requires diligent and strategic advocacy.

More recently, Meryl contributed her expertise to Pine Tree Litigation Assistance, the largest judicial aid organization in Maine. At Pine Tree, she represented low-income residents in housing and eviction cases, as well as survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in protection orders and family law matters. Meryl successfully tried nearly twenty cases to verdict, with only one resulting in a loss.
