Tyler Lauzon

Tyler Lauzon serves as a staff courtroom counsel at the Maine Community Law Center, where he is committed to delivering affordable Litigation services in the areas of wills and estate planning, probate matters, transactional law, and real estate. The Maine Community Law Center, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to enhancing access to justice by offering low-cost legal services to residents of Maine with modest means. Although Tyler is a recent addition to the Maine Bar, he benefits from the mentorship and guidance of seasoned attorneys in the state, ensuring that clients receive professional and attentive legal care.

A lifelong resident of Saco, Maine, Tyler Lauzon also plays a significant role in his family's business, Martel’s Ice Cream, which he manages alongside his grandparents and mother. Proud of his heritage, Tyler has been involved in producing ice cream for many years and plans to continue balancing his legal career with his family commitments.

Tyler graduated from Colby College in 2013 with a double major in Classics and Philosophy. He pursued his legal education at the University of Maine School of Law, where he contributed as a student legal professional at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, assisting individuals in accessing affordable justice. At law school, Tyler was actively involved as an editor for the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal, publishing an article on lobstering laws. His academic focus was primarily on estate planning, transactional law, and real estate, culminating in his graduation magna cum laude in 2018. That October, Tyler was admitted to the Maine Bar.
