About Rebecca J Sargent
With a rich professional background, Rebecca J Sargent established her own law practice focusing on estate planning, probate, trust administration, corporate matters, and real estate. Before founding her firm, Rebecca served as Senior Vice President & Senior Trust Officer at Union Trust Company (now Camden National Bank) from 1994 to 2008. She contributed to the Advisory Board for the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor Program (CTFA) and the Certified Council of the Institute of Certified Bankers until 2016.
An active community member, Rebecca was named Ellsworth Chamber’s Citizen of the Year in 2024 due to her dedication to volunteering. Her current roles include serving on the EBDC Board, Frenchman Bay Conservancy Board, HCTC Study Committee, and the Lawyer’s Fund for Client Protection. She also participates in the Northern Light Maine Coast Memorial Hospital Capital Campaign Committee, Ellsworth Rotary Auction Steering Committee, Downeast Household YMCA Board, and Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce Board.
Rebecca, a native of Ellsworth, enjoys traveling and golfing. Additionally, she shares her expertise by teaching estate planning and investment topics for local organizations.
