Marshall T. Henslee

Marshall T. Henslee, a partner at Silverman Thompson, has dedicated over 25 years to litigating complex criminal defense cases in state and federal courts. His extensive career includes seven years as managing partner at Henslee & Gordon LLC and 14 years as a solo practitioner. Prior to these roles, he honed his skills in civil and criminal litigation as an associate at a Louisiana law firm.

His practice encompasses a broad spectrum of criminal cases, such as DUIs, drug offenses, crimes of violence, white-collar crimes, sex offenses, homicides, and federal conspiracy cases. He has successfully represented a diverse clientele, including athletes, politicians, attorneys, doctors, veterinarians, finance executives, truck drivers, teachers, civil servants, and business owners. His expertise often leads other attorneys to seek his collaboration as co-counsel.

Since 2021, Marshall T. Henslee has been recognized as a Super Lawyer, an accolade awarded to the top five percent of attorneys in the state. He has also been named a Top Attorney in Maryland by Baltimore Magazine. His professional affiliations include the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National College for DUI Defense. In addition to his legal practice, he is passionate about education and public speaking. He regularly lectures in criminal justice classes at Towson University and has taught law courses at Goucher College and Baltimore County Community College. He also conducts symposiums at local high schools on policing and citizens’ rights.
