Linda Faith Burgos

Linda F. Burgos spent three and a half years in Lima, Peru, during her childhood before returning to the United States to settle in Illinois. She completed her undergraduate studies in 1983 at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, earning a B.A. in Political Science. In 1987, she obtained her J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C.

In Montgomery County, Maryland, Mrs. Burgos established Burgos & Burgos, LLC, where she serves as a partner. Her practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, and criminal litigation.

Mrs. Burgos has actively contributed to the community through the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association by organizing and participating in District Court Open Houses and legal fairs. These events aim to educate the Spanish-speaking community on domestic, criminal, civil, landlord and tenant, and juvenile law.

From 2002 to 2012, Mrs. Burgos was an instructor at the University of Maryland University College. Her bar admissions include Maryland (1987), District of Columbia (1988), United States District Court for the District of Maryland (1988), United States District Court for the District of Columbia (1990), and the United States Claims Court (1989).

Her professional affiliations encompass the Maryland State Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, and Maryland Hispanic Bar Association.
