Donald L. Bell

Donald L. Bell brings a wealth of experience to his legal practice in Baltimore County, Maryland. Born on September 29, 1975, in Montgomery, Alabama, Mr. Bell graduated with honors from Carver Senior High School. He joined the United States Marine Corps in August 1993, serving six years and embracing its core values, which continue to guide his legal career.

During his military service, he pursued higher education, earning an Associate of Arts degree with honors from Campbell University in North Carolina in 1996. He furthered his education with a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. After his honorable discharge, Mr. Bell worked as a Deputy Clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, where he developed a keen interest in bankruptcy law.

To deepen his legal expertise, Mr. Bell attended the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, earning his Juris Doctor in May 2003. While studying, he gained practical experience working with a prominent Bankruptcy Trustee in Baltimore City for over two years.

Mr. Bell is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the Maryland Federal Bankruptcy Court. His professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Federal Bankruptcy Bar Association, Maryland Consumer Bankruptcy Bar Association, Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, and the bar associations of Prince George’s County, Howard County, Montgomery County, and the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association.
