Keira Sherper

Keira Sherper joined Silverman Thompson as an associate attorney in 2025, where she concentrates her practice on criminal defense and civil litigation. Her legal journey began after graduating first in her class from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She then completed a judicial clerkship at the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Keira returned to Silverman Thompson following a two-year tenure as a law clerk with the firm during her law school years.

While pursuing her law degree, Keira actively participated in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition and contributed as both a teaching assistant and research assistant. At the University of Baltimore School of Law, she provided direct representation to clients in Maryland District Court and engaged in post-conviction proceedings as a Rule 19 student attorney with the University's Criminal Defense and Advocacy Clinic.

Prior to her legal studies, Keira earned a master’s degree in forensic psychology from George Washington University and gained valuable experience working as a litigation paralegal for four years.
