Emily graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She began her professional journey as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Thompson at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. This role allowed her to refine her skills in legal analysis, writing, and courtroom procedures.

Before her clerkship, Emily supported prosecutors at the Office of the State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County while completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Baltimore. Her early career was further enriched by judicial internships, clerkships, and roles as a student-attorney.
