Rian Wieser

Rian Wieser joined Silverman Thompson in 2025, bringing extensive experience in family law, including protective orders, contested divorces, and marital settlements. Rian is committed to securing positive outcomes for clients through thorough preparation and strong advocacy. Known for meticulous research, robust writing skills, and a confident courtroom presence, Rian effectively communicates arguments and drafts compelling motions, playing a crucial role in securing final protective orders for abuse victims and resolving high-conflict family law cases favorably.

Prior to joining Silverman Thompson, Rian served as an attorney at the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault, representing survivors statewide. This role involved working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and handling complex family law matters with empathy and determination.

Rian is a certified mediator, having completed a 40-hour mediation certification in Maryland. Recently, Rian completed Best Interest Attorney training, enhancing the ability to advocate for children in family law disputes. Rian excels in working with clients who are honest about their situation and committed to their family's future goals.
