Robert L. Siems

Robert L. Siems, J.D., M.B.A., CPCU, is a distinguished trial and insurance lawyer who founded the Law Offices of Robert L. Siems in 1999 in Baltimore. With extensive experience in major-exposure and bad faith litigation, he has built a reputation for excellence in the field.

Bob has a notable history of managing significant cases for two Fortune 500 insurance companies. He served as an officer and claims counsel at USF&G and St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, where he played a key role in developing their legal teams and nationwide large-loss-exposure case-management programs. His contributions included designing and managing extra-contractual and bad faith case-management programs and serving as claims counsel for the Special Investigative Unit (SIU).

Bob earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law and completed his Executive M.B.A. at Loyola College. He also holds a CPCU certification. His expertise extends to writing and lecturing for the Defense Research Institute, the Maryland Association of Defense Trial Lawyers, the Maryland Institute of Continuing Programs for the Education of Lawyers (MICPEL), and the National Business Institute.
