Daniel Rosefelt

Daniel Rosefelt, a distinguished tax attorney and Certified Public Accountant, has been practicing for over 25 and 30 years, respectively. He leads Daniel Rosefelt & Associates, LLC, a tax law firm dedicated to assisting clients with significant tax challenges in the Washington D.C. Metro area, Florida, throughout the United States, and internationally. His practice emphasizes aiding individuals and small businesses with severe tax problems, including unfiled tax returns, audits, criminal tax investigations, administrative appeals, tax court litigation, unpaid payroll taxes, and resolving substantial tax debts for high-income individuals through programs like the offer in compromise or bankruptcy discharge.

Mr. Rosefelt frequently represents clients before the United States Tax Court, Bankruptcy Court, and administratively before the Internal Revenue Service, the District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue, the Comptroller of Maryland, and various state taxing authorities. His academic background includes serving as an Adjunct Professor of Tax Law and Legal Research and Writing at Stetson University College of Law, where he graduated with honors in 1991. During his time there, he was a Legal Research & Writing Teaching Fellow and a published member of the Law Review.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Rosefelt gained valuable experience in public accounting and private industry as an auditor and tax accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin Madison, earned in 1981.
