Paul Schrader

Since 2007, Paul Schrader has been actively representing clients across various roles in the construction industry, including owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and sureties. His extensive experience encompasses disputes on both public and private construction projects, often with amounts in controversy exceeding ten million dollars.

Paul has served as first-chair in numerous trials and arbitrations, notably achieving a seven-figure award for his client in a two-week arbitration, along with a substantial award of attorneys’ fees. His expertise includes managing complex change order and claim disputes, particularly those involving critical path analysis. As lead counsel, he has successfully advocated for clients on appeal and secured summary judgments in multiple courts.

In the realm of bankruptcy, Paul represents creditors with a particular focus on the construction industry. He has played a significant role in nearly every major recent construction industry bankruptcy in the D.C. metropolitan area, including cases involving Truland Systems Corporation, Natelco Corporation, Lansdowne Construction, and Dietze Construction Group.

His cases include Westinghouse Electric Company, Welded Construction, Phoenix Solar, Pacific Gas & Electric, and FirstEnergy Generation Corp.
