Rose Crunkleton

Rose Crunkleton has been a dedicated attorney since 1994, currently practicing in Dunkirk, Maryland. She is an active member of the Calvert County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association, serving as the president-elect of the CCBA, after previously holding the roles of treasurer and secretary.

Rose began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Steven I. Platt of the Circuit Court of Prince George’s County. She then practiced law alongside her father, George A. Wilkinson, in Hyattsville, Maryland, before establishing her own practice in Southern Maryland. Coming from a family rich in legal tradition, her father, grandfather, sister, and uncle were all attorneys. She is also a descendant of George Mason, a notable US founding father and self-taught lawyer.

Rose holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park, earned in 1986, which complements her focus on estate planning and probate law. She graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1993.

Beyond her legal practice, Rose is deeply involved in her community. She has served as an elected member and president of the Calvert County Board of Education. Her leadership extended to roles as past president of the Northern Middle PTSA and Northern Band Boosters, and she has chaired the Calvert County Commission for Women. In her personal time, she enjoys running 5ks and aspires to complete a half marathon soon.
