Chinwe Kpaduwa

Chinwe Kpaduwa, an accomplished trial lawyer, was born in Takoma Park, Maryland, and spent her formative years in Lagos, Nigeria. After attending Queen’s College Yaba in Lagos, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Berea College in Kentucky, followed by her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.

Chinwe's legal career spans over a decade, marked by her extensive experience in civil litigation. She specializes in cases involving car accidents, personal injury, and wrongful death. Her expertise is further enriched by her role as the founder of Omena Law Firm, LLC, and her previous positions as an Assistant State’s Attorney and an insurance adjuster, where she adeptly handled automobile and personal injury claims.

Practicing law in both the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland, Chinwe has been acknowledged as one of the Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers. Her client-focused approach has earned her the Client’s Choice Award and recognition as a Top Attorney by Avvo.

Beyond her professional achievements, Chinwe led the Nigerian American Lawyers Association (NALA) as president from 2022 to 2023, demonstrating her commitment to the legal community.
