Reed Smith

Reed J. Smith, a personal injury attorney at WGK Personal Injury Lawyers, represents clients throughout Maryland who have suffered injuries due to others' negligence. Since joining the firm in November 2025, Reed has been dedicated to providing client-focused, detail-oriented legal representation. His work is characterized by clarity, confidence, and strong advocacy.

Before his legal career, Reed gained seven years of experience in the personal injury field, where he assisted attorneys in all litigation stages, from client intake to trial preparation. This background provided him with a comprehensive understanding of case development, insurance company operations, and effective client advocacy both in and out of the courtroom. His ability to anticipate challenges and develop tailored strategic solutions is a hallmark of his practice.

Reed concentrates on personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, and buses, as well as slip-and-fall and premises liability cases. Known for his thorough preparation and thoughtful communication, Reed remains dedicated to achieving meaningful results while prioritizing his clients' best interests.

He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2025 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Towson University, completed in 2018. Reed is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and serves clients throughout the greater Baltimore area and across Maryland.

A native of Baltimore County, Reed values his community ties and takes pride in supporting local residents during challenging times. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens.
