Jennifer Marie Alonso

Jennifer Marie Alonso was born and raised in New Jersey, attending private schools throughout her education. Her life as the spouse of a military member took her to various parts of the United States. She graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado and Rutgers University School of Law. During her final year, she studied at the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she earned a place on the Dean’s List.

Ms. Alonso has been practicing law since 2002. Early in her career, she focused on personal injury, worker’s compensation, and surety law. After being mentored by a seasoned immigration attorney, she established her own firm in 2007, concentrating on immigration and nationality law. Her practice includes pro bono work, supporting individuals navigating complex immigration challenges.

Ms. Alonso is admitted to both state and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She has been a member of the Maryland State Bar Association since 2002 and joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2007. Additionally, she is affiliated with the American Civil Liberties Union and the National Organization for Women.

Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Alonso is a strong advocate for immigrant rights, dedicated to serving her clients' needs with commitment and passion.
