About John Robert Discavage

John R. Discavage began his academic journey at the University of Dayton, where he earned both a Bachelor of Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in 1996. Prior to pursuing his legal education, he gained valuable experience working with Judge Walter Rice in the Federal District Court of Ohio and at the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Dayton, Ohio.

Mr. Discavage continued his education at the University of Dayton School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctorate. Following his graduation, he returned to Maryland and served as a prosecutor for the Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he honed his litigation skills.

In 2005, Mr. Discavage established The Law Office of John R. Discavage, P.A., focusing his legal practice on personal injury and auto accident litigation. He is actively involved in the legal community, participating in seminars and advocacy courses throughout Maryland. His work often involves collaboration with experts and accident reconstructionists, both inside and outside the courtroom.
