Erin McHugh

Erin E. McHugh is a highly skilled Boston attorney focusing on personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice, bicycle accidents, and dangerous drugs. She holds bar admissions in both the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut.

Attorney McHugh earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, where she was actively involved in the Suffolk Public Interest Law Group and the Lefkowitz Moot Court Team. She graduated with Pro Bono Honors, having completed over 100 hours of pro bono work during her studies. Her academic journey began at Lafayette College, where she double majored in Government & Law and Spanish, and was inducted into Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Spanish Honor Society.

Before joining Sweeney Merrigan Law, Attorney McHugh gained valuable experience at a small business litigation firm in Boston and worked with the Boston Public Schools’ Office of Legal Advisor. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Boston Bar Association.
