Greg Vanden-Eykel

Greg Vanden-Eykel, a Founding Partner of Cole Law Partners, P.C., is a seasoned litigator with extensive expertise in employment, commercial, and construction litigation. His practice also encompasses education law, where he addresses issues related to special education, student discipline, employment, and governance.

Greg has a proven track record in representing businesses, charter schools, and individuals across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He has successfully advocated for clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative bodies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Massachusetts Committee Against Discrimination, and the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights, among others.

Among his notable achievements, Greg secured a defense verdict for a Massachusetts hospital after a seven-day jury trial involving claims of disability discrimination and retaliation. He also obtained a defense verdict for a Massachusetts retailer in a small claims trial concerning allegations of assault and battery and vicarious liability. Additionally, he has achieved multiple findings of lack of probable cause for employers before various commissions and agencies.

Greg's comprehensive approach includes collaborating with clients on all aspects of employment matters. This includes developing employee handbooks, crafting job descriptions and offer letters, managing leave and accommodation requests, drafting restrictive covenants and severance agreements, and providing guidance on termination and wage and hour issues.
