William D. Kickham

William D. Kickham has cultivated a robust legal career spanning more than two decades, engaging in both law and media. He currently manages his own practice in Westwood, Massachusetts. Until recently, he was the Executive Producer and host of the TV talk show, At The Bar, which aired on the Comcast network, focusing on legal and litigation issues within Massachusetts and beyond.

In his varied career, Mr. Kickham has held the position of New England Regional Manager for the Insurance Information Institute, a nationwide trade association for liability insurance companies. In this role, he served as the chief spokesperson, engaging with media and industry groups on legal and litigation matters. His media presence extended to major outlets like USA Today, The National Law Journal, and The New York Times.

Before his tenure with the Institute, Mr. Kickham was the Public Affairs Counsel for the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA) in Boston, the state chapter of the American Association for Justice. He managed media relations concerning legal, insurance liability, tort reform, and civil justice issues, and served as Editor-In-Chief of all news operations.

While pursuing his Juris Doctor at Suffolk University Law School, Mr. Kickham was Communications Coordinator for the House Judiciary Committee in the Massachusetts House. Prior to law school, he directed media relations for a coalition aiming to reform auto insurance in Massachusetts. He is also a former Special Assistant District Attorney for Norfolk County, where he handled numerous criminal cases.

Mr. Kickham holds a degree in Economics from Boston College and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. He is admitted to the Massachusetts and Federal Bars and was recognized as an Outstanding Young Men of America award recipient in 1982. Additionally, he has been a legal analyst and commentator on various media platforms.
