Jacob Bezner

Jacob Bezner is a dedicated attorney with a practice encompassing criminal defense, employment law, higher education, and appeals. He collaborates closely with clients to navigate intricate legal matters.

Jacob joined Zalkind as an associate in 2025 after completing a clerkship at the Massachusetts Appeals Court. During this clerkship, he worked under a judge with extensive experience in criminal defense, enriching his understanding of the field.

His passion for advocating for workers and consumers was evident during his law school years. He interned with a Boston law firm dedicated to representing workers and unions, contributed to the Consumer Rights Unit at Greater Boston Legal Services, and worked with the New York Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection.

At BU Law, he was a lead organizer for the Boston University Graduate Workers Union and served as a legal writing teaching assistant for J.D. and LL.M. students. Jacob also represented BU Law in a national moot court competition, earning an award for oral advocacy.

Driven by a commitment to support working individuals, Jacob understands the challenges faced by workers and criminal defendants. He believes in providing dedicated advocacy and compassionate support, aiming to turn difficult situations into opportunities for positive change.
