Jason V. Owens

Jason V. Owens serves as a Partner and Senior Attorney at Lynch & Owens, P.C., focusing on divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, estates litigation, and complex financial probate and family litigation. Originally from Cape Cod, Jason transitioned from a career in journalism and business development to law. Before entering private practice, he gained significant experience as a Judicial Clerk for the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. In this role, he collaborated with twelve judges across Barnstable, Bristol, and Essex counties, drafting legal documents and conducting in-depth legal research.

Jason's prior professional background includes over six years in marketing and international engineering consulting at the Cambridge headquarters of Camp, Dresser, & McKee, Inc. (now CDM Smith Inc.), a leading global firm. He holds a Journalism degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (B.A. 2000) and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School (J.D. 2007), where he contributed to the Moot Court Honor Board and served as an editor for the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy.

Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2007, Jason is also a member of the Bar of the Federal District Court for Massachusetts. During his time at Suffolk Law, he was a Student Advocate at the Hale and Dorr Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School and interned with Hon. Robert W. Langlois (ret.), First Justice of the Norfolk Probate and Family Court. Jason represents clients in Probate and Family Courts across Massachusetts, including Plymouth, Norfolk, Barnstable, Bristol, and Essex counties.
