Elena Tsizer

Elena Tsizer is a committed legal professional located in Framingham, Massachusetts. She graduated cum laude from the New England School of Law, ranking in the top 15% of her class. Furthering her education, she obtained a Master of Laws degree in Taxation with a concentration in Estate Planning from Boston University. After completing her law degree, Elena served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court across Suffolk, Middlesex, Bristol, and Worcester Counties. In this role, she engaged in complex legal research, drafted decisions, and prepared legal memoranda under the guidance of the Justices.

Elena is actively involved in pro bono work, offering her expertise to clients through MetroWest Legal Services, the Volunteer Lawyers Project, and the Women's Bar Foundation. During her law school years, she worked full-time while attending classes at night. Her academic achievements include being selected as a Case Comment & Note Editor for the New England Journal on Civil and Criminal Confinement, following a competitive writing contest. Additionally, she interned at the New England Innocence Project, where she reviewed inmate files to identify evidence for potential acquittals through DNA testing.

Before obtaining her Juris Doctor degree, Elena had been part of the legal field for nearly ten years. Originally from Ukraine, she immigrated to the United States in 1993, initially settling in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her legal career began in 1996 as a secretary in a solo practice catering to Russian and Ukrainian immigrants. Balancing work and studies, she earned an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from the Community College of Philadelphia and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Temple University. Elena is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
