Steven Boris

Steven Boris, a founding member of the Firm, specializes in a wide range of civil law areas, including personal injury, maritime, business, employment law, and alternative dispute resolution. He is adept at handling cases both within and outside of courtrooms. Steven holds an AV® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest standards of legal ability and ethics. His expertise has earned him the title of “Super Lawyer” by Boston Magazine for four consecutive years, from 2006 to 2009.

Steven has represented clients in over 500 personal injury cases, successfully trying many in state and Federal courts, while resolving the majority without litigation. He serves as an arbitrator and mediator for Massachusetts state courts, Federal courts, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the American Arbitration Association, assisting in the resolution of various legal disputes, including fee disagreements.

As an Adjunct Professor in the Legal Studies Department at Lasell College in Newton, MA, Steven teaches Tort and Personal Injury Law. He also served as a Visiting Professor of Law at Petrozavodsk State University in the Russian Federation, instructing students in U.S. Constitutional Law and Western-style dispute resolution. In 2011, he is slated to teach Arbitration at Odessa National Academy of Law in Ukraine.

Steven's scholarly contributions include publications in academic peer-reviewed journals focusing on Maritime law and Criminology. He resides in Boston.
