Ryan Schiff

Ryan Schiff, a partner at Elkins, Auer, Rudof & Schiff in Northampton, Massachusetts, brings extensive expertise in appellate litigation and criminal and juvenile defense. He has successfully briefed and argued cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Supreme Judicial Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. His trial-court experience encompasses a wide spectrum, from intricate first-degree murder and federal racketeering cases to more straightforward trespassing and drug-possession charges.

Prior to his current role, Ryan served as the Director of Juvenile Appeals at the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) and was a staff attorney in CPCS’s Special Litigation Unit. His commitment to juvenile justice is well recognized; in 2018, he was honored with the Jay D. Blitzman Youth Advocacy Award for his dedication to juvenile rights.
