Noah Sklar Hurwitz

Noah S. Hurwitz is a highly regarded advisor and advocate for clients seeking to navigate employment law effectively. Drawing from his experience as a former partner at a national law firm and as in-house counsel for a leading mortgage lender, Mr. Hurwitz provides comprehensive guidance on employment agreements, restrictive covenants, discrimination, whistleblowing, trade secret misappropriation, risk management, wage and hour law, handbook policies, and employee benefits.

Mr. Hurwitz is an accomplished litigator, having represented clients in state and federal courts across Michigan. He has successfully handled cases involving the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Known for his appellate law expertise, he has argued appeals before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Hurwitz is committed to educating the business community by presenting on employment law topics throughout Michigan. He also contributes as a mediator for commercial and employment law disputes in the Washtenaw County Case Evaluation Program.
