William Amadeo

Driven by a passion for justice, William Amadeo became an attorney after witnessing injustices in his youth in Atlantic City. His legal expertise is enhanced by his experience in journalism, allowing him to thoroughly investigate all case angles. He emphasizes creative defense strategies and works closely with clients to ensure comprehensive case exploration.

Mr. Amadeo prioritizes his clients' needs, striving to be accessible and dedicated to each case. His enthusiasm for research and writing often finds him reviewing legal materials in his personal time. He specializes in criminal defense, particularly in assaultive and theft crimes, and has a background in civil litigation.

Born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Mr. Amadeo attended the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, majoring in Communications and leading the Debate Team as Captain. He relocated to Michigan to study law at Thomas M. Cooley, graduating in 2008. During his legal studies, he served as a Teacher’s Assistant for the Innocence Project and worked as a full-time journalist.

Mr. Amadeo has practiced law at several firms, including his own, and founded BAT Tutoring, a bar prep and tutoring business. He is licensed to practice in Michigan and New Jersey and frequently contributes to blogs and other publications.

A supporter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund and The American Cancer Society, Mr. Amadeo enjoys spending time with his fiancée and pets, attending CrossFit, and playing softball.
