David D. Sprague

David D. Sprague serves as the principal partner at the firm, bringing extensive expertise in Business Law, Probate and Estate Planning, Elder Law and Medicaid Planning, Family Law (including domestic relations, divorce, and prenuptial agreements), and Real Estate Law. His legal career includes roles at prominent firms such as Raymond & Prokop, P.C. and Pepper Hamilton LLP. David has successfully guided clients through applications with the Michigan Minority Business Development Council and defended against claims by the Business Software Alliance.

Before entering the legal field, David accumulated nearly a decade of experience in the automotive and IT sectors. He worked with General Motors Corporation's Corporate Finance Staff and served as an Operations Manager at Electronic Data Systems. This diverse background enriches his legal practice.

David is a published author, contributing to 'Technology and the Law,' a supplement to the Great Lakes IT Report by Matt Roush (WWJ 950), and his articles have appeared in the Automation Alley newsletters, the Detroiter, and the Michigan Bar Journal.

Actively committed to professional development, David engages with the Family Law and Probate and Estate Planning Certificated Programs at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). He maintains his expertise with ongoing education in family, business, real estate, and estate planning/probate law. David holds a Certificate of Completion for the Probate & Estate Planning Certificate Program from ICLE and the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
